Approved Social and Labour Plans

Impala Platinum Ltd – Social and Labour Plan:

Impala Platinum Ltd (Impala), as the mining right holder of the Impala Rustenburg Operation, near Rustenburg, note the provision as contained in the Broad-Based Socio-Economic Empowerment Charter for the Mining and Minerals Industry, 2018, as amended, (Mining Charter, 2018) to publish its approved Social and Labour Plan in English and a dominant language(s) commonly used within its mine community.

Impala has duly submitted its proposed Social and Labour Plan for the 5-year period 2019 – 2023 to the Department of Mineral Resources, North West Region, which approval is pending. In the interest of transparency, Impala will provide information in this regard, once approved, and in accordance with all applicable legislation.

Marula Platinum (Pty) Ltd (Marula), as the mining right holder of the Marula Platinum Mine, near Burgersfort, note the provision as contained in the Broad-Based Socio-Economic Empowerment Charter for the Mining and Minerals Industry, 2018, as amended, (Mining Charter, 2018) to publish its approved Social and Labour Plan in English and a dominant language(s) commonly used within its mine community.

Marula has duly submitted its proposed Social and Labour Plan for the 5-year period 2018 - 2022 to the Department of Mineral Resources, Limpopo Region, which approval is pending. In the interest of transparency, Marula will provide information in this regard, once approved, and in accordance with all applicable legislation.
